Events in Ripon on Saturday 4th September 2010:

| Ripon Horticultural Show |
| The show is organised by Ripon City Allotment Society and is held on the first Saturday of September. In 2010 it will be staged in the Wakeman Bar at Ripon Racecourse. There are over 100 classes and anyone living with three miles of the town hall [and allotment society members] can enter their produce. Schedules for the Show can be obtained from July onwards by ringing the show secretary [Malcolm Hutchinson] on 01765 605113 or from the Society's website www.riponcityallotments.btik.com
The show opens to the public when the judging is complete about 12:30. Admittance is free. The mayor will present the prizes at 4:00 |
